I know that you probably think that online petitions are useless but they are not because I believe they are another form of expression available to the people around the world.

This petition is special , it is an international petition to the UN General Assembly to set up a special international penal court to try Israeli war crimes, notably in the Gaza Strip.

It is published by the French Palestine Solidarity Association, I hope that more people sign this petition to show that we have not forgotten what happened in Gaza and we want justice.

What happened in Gaza was a war crime by all means.

IDF colonel leaves speaking tour of UK for fear of arrest

This news is great and it is not the first time it happens , I think Michel Messiah is behind this court order . I wish Egyptian activists in UK would do the same regarding the POWs cases

I also wish that the British government and the Israeli government will fail in changing these laws.

It is disgusting how Israel wants to change the laws of other countries to suit it where as it claims it is the democracy oasis in the dictatorship desert in the Middle East. If it were a democratic country then it would respect that this law was legislated and approved in a democraticy system by the representatives of the public in a free country.

I hope that general won’t be the last one not to enter Europe for fear of the arrest.In fact I hope one of those generals one day would be arrested and sued in the ICC

Spain opens war crimes investigation against Israel

On the 30th of January 2009 the high court in Spain decided to open a war-crimes investigation into a former Israeli defence minister and six of his military officials. And You won’t believe who that former Israeli defence minister : Our old friend Ben-Eliezer !!!

The war crime of Eliezer this time goes back to 2002 when Israel bombed a building in the Gaza Strip killing 14 civilians and a Hamas comander Salah Shehade . Among the victims were Nine Children

If found convicted Ben-Eliezer will be wanted across the EU.

Of course Israel attacked this decision and Livni came and said the Spanish FM called her and told her not be worry because Spain decided to correct  that mistake regarding the jurisdictions !!??

Livni described this as an abuse of Spanish judicial system , I won’t be surprised because she herself is a war crime.

It  is worth to mention Eliezer killed Arab POWs in 1967 in what is better known as the Shaked affair.

Historically this is not the first war crimes case against Israel in Europe , I remember that famous Palestinian lawyer in UK Michel Massih tried to push similiar case in the British courts , I think he managed with one of the IDF generals who can´t put his foot in the British soil now.

Back to Spain; Spain is a democratic country and I wish and hope that the Spanish government would respect the simple rules of democracy and does not change  its laws to protect the Israeli wars.
