This week the first Arab league investigation delegation went to Gaza to investigate the IDF war crimes against the Palestinian citizens. I was so happy when I read the news making the headlines whether in the Arab world or Israel despite there was not much comment about it. The delegation will document those crimes in order to escalate the matter in front of the ICC.
This is the first delegation with such mission to be sent from the Arab League as far as I remember, this is so promising for sure. I read before that the Arab league was going to sent an investigation delegation to Gaza but to be honest I did not believe that they were serious.
I hope that they continue to be serious and try to push this matter to the ICC

I am tired of the hypocrisy of the IDF , whenever anyone brings up their war crimes against humanity ,it starts speaking about terrorism with all it different kinds including the legal terrorism !!
I am not surprised that Liron Liebman ,the head of IDF’s military prosecution’s international law department to defend his army but I am afraid is that his focus only was about the IAF pilots who threw WP on civilian and UN targets.
The IAF was not the only force that committed war crimes in the Gaza that should be punished for , the IDF was involved.
Also regarding the mistakes as he liked to call it
"It’s impossible not to make mistakes in such a crowded environment, under pressure. There’s a large gap between mistakes and the ‘war crimes’ people like to accuse us of."
I do not think that such a crime of targeting babies directly could be a mistake , this is not a mistake at all , this is a war crime. Read more... (252 words, estimated 1:00 mins reading time)

The Jordanian Parliament did not go to the ICC to sue Israel for the war crimes done in Gaza as it was announced. The parliament decided to delay the visit of the head of legal committee in the parliament to the ICC to unknown date.
The Jordanian MP Mubarak Abu Yamin ,the head of the legal committee was going to meet Ocampo on Wednesday in the Hague to present a memo by the name of the Jordanian Parliament to sue the IDF war criminals.
But suddenly the visit was delayed or rather cancelled for the some unknown reasons. Mr. Abu Yamin said that there were only procedural problems where as many MPs said that there were pressures from outside the Parliament to cancel this visit.
Some unnamed source said to Al Jazeera.net that Jordan could not handle the implications of such move , it would open the door of hell on the small country that already is having bad relations with Israel on the unofficial level that reflected by its turn on the official level.
I think this is right but if all the Arab countries parliaments stand with the Jordanian Parliament in its daring great move, there will be no danger on Jordan. Read more... (238 words, estimated 57 secs reading time)

“Wanted” is an Israeli that demands the trial of the Israeli military commanders and ministers as War crimes especially what they had done in Gaza war 2008-2009.
From those commanders we got our Shaked affair hero Binyamin Fouad Ben Eliezer ,here is what is mentioned in the website regarding his war crimes in 1967
At the end of the ’67 war, the suspect was the head of the Sayeret Shaked IDF Unit. According to testimonies by Israeli and Egyptian soldiers, the suspect ordered the killing of 250 Egyptian or Palestinian fighters (exact nationality unclear) shortly after the war ended. Evidence indicates that the killings were carried out using helicopters flying low above the Sinai desert, hunting the retreating soldiers, some of whom were unarmed.
Further eye-witness testimonies state that the suspect personally executed prisoners of war who did not obey instructions. The killing of soldiers after hostilities have ended, and the execution of prisoners of war are all expressly prohibited under international law and are classed as war crimes.
Ben Eliezer came to Egypt again after March 2007 to sign the gas export agreement with current Oil Minister Sameh Fahmy by the way. Yes Sameh Fahmy smiled and shook the hands of a war criminal whose hands are stained by our Egyptian and Arab POWs Blood. Read more... (223 words, 1 image, estimated 54 secs reading time)

On the 30th of January 2009 the high court in Spain decided to open a war-crimes investigation into a former Israeli defence minister and six of his military officials. And You won’t believe who that former Israeli defence minister : Our old friend Ben-Eliezer !!!
The war crime of Eliezer this time goes back to 2002 when Israel bombed a building in the Gaza Strip killing 14 civilians and a Hamas comander Salah Shehade . Among the victims were Nine Children
If found convicted Ben-Eliezer will be wanted across the EU.
Of course Israel attacked this decision and Livni came and said the Spanish FM called her and told her not be worry because Spain decided to correct that mistake regarding the jurisdictions !!??
Livni described this as an abuse of Spanish judicial system , I won’t be surprised because she herself is a war crime.
It is worth to mention Eliezer killed Arab POWs in 1967 in what is better known as the Shaked affair.
Historically this is not the first war crimes case against Israel in Europe , I remember that famous Palestinian lawyer in UK Michel Massih tried to push similiar case in the British courts , I think he managed with one of the IDF generals who can´t put his foot in the British soil now. ICC announced new rules to encourage somehow the war criminals to show up with their dignity in the court !! They can return back to their countries during the trial ..etc. Of course this can happen in a perfect world. No war criminal will give up that easily
Already Amr Moussa , the general secretary of the Arab league is having talks with the ICC in order to sue the IDF for war crimes against the Palestinian People in Gaza as the evidence of war crimes was crystal clear. I respect Moussa’s quick and smart move but I wonder why he did not the same the thing with the Egyptian POWs case when he was a FM of Egypt or even in his current position with my all respect and support to the Palestinian cause
This is from the official side , unofficially some Arabic civil society and human rights organization will have a meeting today at San’a’ governorate in Yemen in order to form an alliance to sue the IDF war criminals abroad, again I wonder why our civil society organization did not think in this option before but it is a good step. But of course I do not want to be pessimistic already the civil society and human rights organizations in the Arab world are too weak .
On the other hand the Israeli government knows that its soldiers and officers can be sued from wars crimes and as their habit to break international laws and so it announced that it would protect any Israeli fighter accused of war crimes will be granted a state protection from prosecution over seas. Strangely Ehud Olmert who once said that he cried for the murder of the Palestinian children was the one who announced this statement.
Still the human rights organizations in Israel are giving hard time to the military establishment and also the radical Zionists. Yesh Din,an Israeli Human rights organization is calling the IDF to sack a military Rabbi who distributed religious books on the soldiers calling them to show no mercy to a cruel enemy . Read more... Thanks to our dear friend O2A I was able at last to find Al-Jazeera’s very important documentary “The Way to Atlit” , before there was “Rush Shaked” there was “The Way to Atlit” , the “Way to Atlit” was a special episode from the Al-Jazeera’s famous TV Show “Top secret” which is presented by “Youssry Fouad”
This special episode is very important as it includes Israeli testimonies from historians and veteran officers too from inside Israel , this is beside the Egyptian testimonies from veterans of 1956 and 1967 wars
It is very rare episode and it was hard to find , in fact it is miracle to find it now
You can find it here in the the film section

I don’t believe the red cross and I don’t care what they say because I have got my people’s testimonies and they can’t be liars , my people for the great people of Sinai ,from Al-Arish who buried the POWs by their hands and know the place of mass graves till our day
My people from the POWs who survived ,whether those who managed to escape or those who survived the hell of Atlit
If they don’t believe my people I don’t care
They got the Israeli confessions of General Biro in 1956 stating clearly as sun what he did from war crimes against not military but also Egyptian civilians
They can prove if they want , but they don’t same like the Egyptian regime
Today Egyptian Foreign minister talked in TV on air about this report and he was so nervous and angry in a strange way I don’t why , he kept speaking for himself the revenge of those POWs was taken in 1973 war , well he was speaking for himself not for the majority of the Egyptian people Read more... The headlines of the Radio and Television magazine says that the version of the “Rush Shaked” documentary which was given to the Egyptian Foreign ministry from the Israeli Television is faked one.I forgot to say that the Radio and Television magazine is a state owned magazine that follows the ministry of information.
I don’t want to say that I expected this ,the Israeli officials won’t give us the evidence on their guilt in the war easily.
Now I don’t know when the Foreign ministry stops depending upon the Israeli committees of investigations and starts a serious investigation from Egypt itself
Something many of you don’t know , after the 1956 and 1967 POWs massacres came to surface for the first time after decades in 1995 , the Foreign ministry also requested an Israeli investigation to conducted and guess what after 3 years that was in 1998 , the Foreign ministry received the report that denied any incident what so ever despite the confessions of the Israeli Paratroopers in 1956 themselves !!!
Well it seems that the Foreign ministry of Egypt with my all respect to it didn’t learn from its mistake. Read more... (254 words, estimated 1:01 mins reading time)

This is an Arabic petition to the Head of the lawyers syndication in Egypt in order to handle the POWs case nationally and internationally
Already I expected  this to happen sooner or later and despite its national flavor it is good to have
Please sigh it because it is important to gather ourselves more and more to get the rights of those innocent people
It is a try
