The 7th of June ; The civilians massacre in Sinai

Many of you think that militaries were only killed in massacres in Sinai by the hands of the IDF , well think again because there was the Faham El-Magrah Massacre in Sinai on the 7th of June 1967

Faham El-Magrah massacre

In the area of Faham El-Magrah where there are several mines a massacre took place there on the 7th of June 1967 where the IDF killed 272 Egyptian engineers and workers in one of the mines there

Of course that this is considered a complete violation for all treaties and all human values from treating the civilians during the war!!

Yom HaShoah of Egyptian POWs

Yesterday Israel celebrated the Yom HaShoah “The Remembrance day for the Holocaust and Heroism”.

I have nothing this and I am not from the camp that dedicated his or her to suspect that the Holocaust took place despite the fact I do believe it took place but in less number

Anyhow I wonder when we will have our “Yom Hashoah” in Egypt to remember the Holocaust victims of Egyptian POWs in 1967 , oh yes we had our own holocaust back in 1967

In Al-Arish and in Gaza cities as places

Egyptian POWs as the victims

and those who celebrated the Yom HaShoah yesterday the 16th of April as the victimizers

Please read this part from the Al-Arish people testimonies’ section and remember our officers and Soldiers who were burned alive and till now got now museum or a special day for remembrance

President Mubarak at last speaks

At last president Mubarak spoke about the Egyptian POWs after two or three weeks of silence , of course his statements come after the public anger in Egypt regarding this issue grew , same with the Public surprise for his silence all that time.

He spoke in an interview with “Momataz El-Kot” the chief in editor of weekly “Akhabr El-Youm” last Saturday, already Mr. “El-Kot” caused a great anger last week after he underestimated the Massacres and indirectly defended the IDF “don’t even ask!” , the problem of “El-Kot” that he is working in an official state owned newspaper , so anything he writes can be considered state’s opinion regardless of how silly it is .

Of course the interview included other important issues now not less than the POWs case like the constitution amendments.

Anyhow regarding the POWs who are the main concern of this website , this is what the President of Egypt said :

Egypt will  not give up the rights of her sons and martyrs .. We will practice our rights and take all necessary actions if the allegations of killing Egyptian POWs during the war 67 turned to be true, but we need to check all what said on this issue !!

The President added that the blood of our martyrs is not a matter of compromising or giving up

With my respect to all the President and what he said from a very excellent promise that there will be no comprise on the blood of our men and believe on the Israeli side they are taking this statement seriously

but I am surprised that he considered all what happened in 1967 to be allegations that needed to be proved , pardon me but Mr. Hosni Mubarak was in the army ,in the air forces during the 1967 war ,yes he was a teacher in the Air forces school then but all Egyptians knew about the crimes that happened in Sinai , all the people who had a contact with the army and its officers , only you had to go to the nearest military hospital to know from the wounded officers and soldiers how they escaped from the hell.

I don’t know what we need from evidence more than mass graves across Sinai

Another thing ,why only the concentration is limited on the POWs of 1967 , what about the POWs of 1956 , why they are always forgotten despite the fact we have a solid case against the Israeli generals like  Biro who confessed to kill the unarmed civilians and POWs across Sinai in 1956 , is n’t the confession the master of evidence !!??

Today also the foreign Minister of Egypt Mr. Ahmed Abu El-Gat gave some statements to the Middle East News agency , which is the official State News agency in Egypt saying in the context of the President that Egypt won’t give up its right but all what we need is documented authenticated evidence not press reports even from the Israeli government , with my all respect what is more documented and authenticated that mass graves and former soldiers and officers testimonies !!

Fake Shaked documentary !!??

The headlines of the Radio and Television magazine says that the version of the “Rush Shaked” documentary which was given to the Egyptian Foreign ministry from the Israeli Television is faked one.I forgot to say that the Radio and Television magazine is a state owned magazine that follows the ministry of information.

I don’t want to say that I expected this ,the Israeli officials won’t give us the evidence on their guilt in the war easily.

Now I don’t know when the Foreign ministry stops depending upon the Israeli committees of investigations and starts a serious investigation from Egypt itself

Something many of you don’t know , after the 1956 and 1967 POWs massacres came to surface for the first time after decades in 1995 , the Foreign ministry also requested an Israeli investigation to conducted and guess what after 3 years that was in 1998 , the Foreign ministry received the report that denied any incident what so ever despite the confessions of the Israeli Paratroopers in 1956 themselves !!!

Well it seems that the Foreign ministry of Egypt with my all respect to it didn’t learn from its mistake.

Another related news yesterday Al-Arish saw a big protest after Friday’s prayer, hundreds requested the Egyptian government to cut the relations with Israel and also they demanded an international court to be held against who did these horrible crimes against the Egyptian POWs.

Justice for the killed Egyptian POW Petition

Ok people I will need your help again this and be sure I will need it again

This time it is an English petition made for the Egyptian POWs sent to the UN,U.S Congress and E.U Committee

It is better than nothing

and believe me if I told that I am glad to find it because I wanted to made one by English but I didn’t know what to write in it

After my signature there are now 375 signatures ,I want this number after 24 hours to be doubled , I am not asking you but I am begging windowslivewriterpetitionfordefendingthepowsrights-fe36asra3-copy4.jpgyou on my knees

People this time we must not shut up and forget as we always do ,because one day we will be asked what we had done

This is the weakest faith , this is the most simplest thing you can ever do even if you are not Egyptian but believe in human rights and that those POWs faced war crimes

For Peace and Justice

I said it before if you respect what the Jewish People did to bring justice for their holocaust victims then you must sign this petition

Another thing

There is an update for the Al-Arish people testimonies , those great people who survived all those years to tell what happened in those hot summer months from living hell in 1967, there are more testimonies I down to translate it

Also to there are new testimony from the POWs but to say the truth they are somehow hard and every time I wanted to translate ,I couldn’t because it is hard to imagine it in your mind and can’t feel sad and angry

Good but it can be better

Ok this is a good sign , but not enough. Yesterday the spokesperson of the Egyptian Presidency Ambassdor Soliman Awad that the presidency is following the file of the Egyptian POWs and already assigned the foreign ministry to follow the case .Also the presidency understands and respects all the public anger for the blood of our POWs

This is a good sigh and for record it is the first since the issue was brought to surface since 1995 but it is not enough

I mean the foreign ministry in Egypt which is assigned from the presidency requested from Israel to investigate the inicdents!! With my all respect to the foreign ministry and its minister but Israel will never lead a serious investigation that will condemn its army in the end and its general and public figures to appear as war criminals

plus I can’t understand why we rely on Israel we got enough evidence for fair and solid accusations according to the international laws

first it happened on Egyptian land

second it is against international laws

third the mass graves and remainings of the bodies are still there and that is enough for accusation

fourth we got testimonies enough to head for the War crimes IJC

fifth it is not about 250 who were killed by Shaked there were thousands in 1967 and 1956
