“Le guerre des six jours il ya 40 ans” or “40 years on the six days war” is an essay written by Chitour Chems in 2007 in the 40 anniversary of the war that changed the Middle East forever. The essay discusses the six days war and its implications up till now showing new historical revelations that the Israelis knew in advance that Nasser did not want to go unlike what they claimed and have been claiming up till now despite the confessions of the Israeli decision makers then.
Despite it is a heavy historical political essay still it contains very interesting details about the massacres against our POWs in 1967 which I will quote here the translation due to its importance.
Among the horrors that Israel was guilty, the film “Shaked Spirit” released by the Israeli state television was shock. It shows the massacres of Egyptian soldiers and officers, it opens the war crimes file committed by Israel despite the liquidation of 250 solider could be considered quite simple in comparison to those Egyptians and Palestinians, and even Israeli historians themselves’ testimonies that the number of prisoners were Killed in the capture was 10,000. Indeed, the number of prisoners would be killed in the capture of 10,000. In His book “The unit Shaked,” Professor Uri Milistein Gives details and counts of war crimes, Even Has A photo of Ben Eliezer with the caption: “Liquidation after the war.” In his book “The unit Shaked,” Professor Uri Milistein counts and gives details of war crimes, even has a photo of Ben Eliezer with the caption: “Liquidation after the war.”

In 1995 after the shameful confessions of IDF commanders of committing war crimes against our POWs in 1956 Suez War and what followed it affecting our mutual relations then , French Libération continued to cover the matter internationally revealing things we did not know about then back in Egypt for some reason. In August 1995 the French newspaper published a small newspaper based on an interview with an Israeli official , Elie Dayan who was the Israeli Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs with an unnamed Egyptian newspaper that Israel was ready to pay compensation to families of the 900 Egyptian prisoners massacred by Israeli soldiers during the wars of 1956 and 1967 and that those acts did not represent the Hebrew State…etc.
Here is the original article and its English translation.

It is not the first time that Nawara Negm speaks about POWs especially now after Dostor report about Our POWs mass graves , already she criticized Rosa Al Youssef Chief in editor Abdullah Kamal for his cold inconsideration and disrespect to our POWs but this time she speaks about the undeniable evidences on these war crimes above them the Israeli confessions themselves on Video.
Tomorrow insh Allah
Dostor will continue its follow up for the report , already there is on going campaign being prepared currently to raise the matter to international and local courts.

This is not the Egyptian Press , this is not the Arabic press , this is the French Press archives : A Libération article from 1995
Rabin reconnaît le massacre de soldats égyptiens par Israël
Rabin recognizes the massacre of Egyptian soldiers
According to that old article which was based upon quotes of Israeli foreign minister and the current President now Shimon Perez to Radio Israel late prime minister Yitzhak Rabin admitted the Israeli responsibility for the IDF crimes in both Suez War and six days war in a meeting with President Mubarak in Washington D.C in 1995 during the Oslo 2 agreement.
Again this is a French newspaper not an Arabic newspaper.
I tried to search in international archives regarding this incident and I found out that the Israeli Press said the opposite as usual :
From Jerusalem Post :Rabin , Mubarak pledge not to let POW issue to ruin relations.
From that small excerpt you will see how the Israeli media fools the Israeli public claiming that “The Mubarak government has been under pressure from Islamic militants in Egypt” to readdress the issue !!?? What Islamic Read more... (467 words, 1 image, estimated 1:52 mins reading time)

After few hours Dostor Weekly issue will hit the newsstand with a new scoop that probably will cause a lot of stir in the Egyptian-Israeli relations. Dostor will publish astonishing details about a new POW mass grave found in Sinai supported by video and photos.
According to OnTv’s “headline” show this mass grave is in the middle zone of Sinai. The middle zone of Sinai if I am not mistaken is at the Metla passages , already this is a strategic military zone in Sinai.
Wait for more coverage insh Allah
.
I do not know yet the details and the background of this mass grave but I know that this area was badly damaged in the heavy rains that hit Sinai from couple of months ago so may be these heavy rains were not a curse but rather a bless as they revealed a hidden crime under the sand after all those decades.
Wait for more coverage insh Allah

British Independent published a very interesting interview with an Israeli ex-death squad Soldier. The former soldier participated in the assassination operation of Jamal Abdel Razeq and another Palestinian militant from 8 years ago. The problem is that those two militants were not killed alone , two bystanders were killed two. The soldier can’t forget up till now how terrible it was to kill innocent civilian . Up till now that soldier has not told his parents and up till now he is suffering from the consequence.
You can read the whole interview here .

Egypt’s oldest English spoken newspaper The Egyptian Gazette published a report today about the Egyptian POWs, it is short an interview with lawyer Farial Abu El-Nagaa whose brother enigneer El-Aidei was killed in the 1967 Egyptian POWs massacres. Mrs. Farial is among the 250 families suing the Israeli government in front of the Egyptain courts after the broadcast of the infamous “Rosh Shaked“.
Now what stopped me in this report today was its introduction :
AN Egyptian lawyer, whose brother was one of some 250 unarmed prisoners of war (POWs) said to be killed in Sinai peninsula by the Israeli army after the 1967 war, has said that while the Egyptians want peace with the Jewish state, the Israeli military involved in the slayings must be punished !!
Said to be killed !!??
Are You kidding me ?? All this and the national Newspaper that is following the newspaper believes that it was said and that they were only 250 !!
The 250 were those who were killed by Shaked but there were thousands who were killed by the rest of the Israeli forces !!?? Read more... (245 words, estimated 59 secs reading time)

Ambassador Mahmoud Bassiouny surprised the audience of the dialogue forum at Bibliothca Alexandria with several shocking surprises yesterday that deserved to be post in the first pages in newspapers , at least the independent newspapers published them for their controversy.
He spoke about several points including the nature of his work as the Ambassador of Egypt in Israel ,

Ambassador Mohamed El-Bassiony
according to his confession he went there as an intelligence officer after long career and heading the Israel sector in military intelligence.
He spoke about Ashraf Marwan ,adding more fuel to the fire , complicating the enigmatic case already , he said indirectly or even directly that Marwan was not our man but rather was working for the Israelis at the same time the public media is glorifying the late businessman and enigma man as a national hero.
He spoke about Um Al-Rashrash ,he said that it was not Egyptian but rather Palestinian, still what he said regarding the remains of the officers found from several months concern us. Read more... (340 words, 1 image, estimated 1:22 mins reading time)

BBC Arabic published a very interesting report about the POWs Swap between the Arab and Israel since 1948. It comes as part of their coverage to the POWs Swap between Lebanon represented by Hezbollah and Israel from three week ago. Of course it is worth to say that the entire report is a complete translation to the Jewish Virtual library based on the IDF numbers and records and so it should not be trusted !!
The report which was translated by Shady El-Kashaf from Gaza traces back the most POWs Swap since the 1948 war,I will summarize it below till year 1967 because already I am having my doubts regarding some numbers concerning the Egyptian POWs , the report claims that the number of the Egyptian POWs were more than the Israeli POWs ,which is untrue according to my humble knowledge in 1973,also it did not mention the number of the Egyptian POWs that actually returned in 1967. A very interesting article that reflects what the majority of Egyptian thinks and feels regarding the Egyptian POWs
It is written in Arabic by Mr. Ahmed Marzok and it is published in the Egyptian News portal Filbalad , which is one of the most popular and successful fast growing websites not only in Egypt but in the Arab world
I highy recommend reading it
I will try to translate it , I won’t depend upon the bad google Arabic / English translation because lots of words will lose their meaning
