On 3th of June 1973 Syria and Israel had exchanged POWs whom were captured during the war of attrition. In 1970 Syria managed to capture 3 Israeli pilots : Captain Gideon Magen, Captain Pinchas Nahmani, and Lieutenant Boaz Eitan and sent them to the notorious Al Mazza prison. For the record those 3 pilots did not suffer 0.1 from what any Syrian citizen had suffered in that prison which has become a synonym to living cemetery during the iron fist of Hafez Al Assad rule.
Gideon Magen , the fourth from Left in Israel
On 9th of June 1972 the IDF managed to capture five Syrian officers who were in reconnaissance mission near the Golan heights.
On the 3th of June 1973 Israel and Syria exchanged their POWs , the 3 Israeli pilots for 5 Syria officers along other 41 Syrians.
Here was a photo for a Syrian POW during the exchange
Despite the differences between USS liberty and Gaza flotilla yet both ships were attacked in international waters , Americans were killed by IDF on both of them and one of the flotilla passengers was from the original passengers of USS Liberty.
Joe Meadors was on the board of Sfendoi Ship that was captured in the flotilla and he shared with the world his experience in his second encounter with the IDF.
Why is USS liberty interesting to our POWs Case ??
Well some crew members of the USS liberty believes that the IDF may have thought that the ship had intercepted communications between the Israelis speaking about a massacre for our POWs in Al Arish citadel to be specific.
Infamous Benyamin Ben Eliazer is visiting Qatar to head the Israeli delegation for the World Economic forum held in Doha there. He is the first Israeli minister to visit Doha Officially since the War on Gaza last year. Ben Eliazer is among the main Israeli officers demanded to be prosecuted for war crimes against the Egyptian POWs in the Six days war.
Now despite knowing the ministerial position of Ben Eliazer , yet I do not understand why or how Qatar officially receives him with all his bloody history !! This man should be arrested for war crimes but anyhow Qatar received before Omar El-Bashir if I am not mistaken !!
Many Egyptians know that President Hosni Mubarak had a cameo in an old black and white Egyptian film in 1950s but most Egyptians ignore the fact that President Mubarak was captured as a POW in a war. Contrary to what you may think he was not captured as a POW in our wars 1956 and 1967 , President Mubarak was captured in the Sand war between Morocco and Algeria in 1963.
During that war Egypt was supporting Algeria against Morocco politically and militarily , it is not clear up till now the participation of Mubarak and whether he was transferring weapons or he was leading a squad of Egyptian and Algerian pilots , probably the later story is the correct one as it is supported by the Moroccans themselves. Lieutenant Hosni Mubarak and his group were captured in Moroccan Aïn Chouatèr area .
As soon as notorious general Mohamed Oufkir knew about the capture of Egyptian and Algerian pilots , he ordered their immediate transfer to Marrakech for interrogation otherwise he would cut off the head of his officers !! God only knows what those young men had seen on the hand of that man. In the same year King Hassan exchanged our POWs in president Nasser’s presence at the African summit in Bamako. Truth always comes in the end regardless of how many years and how many attempts to hide it and the truth of Unit 1391 was a proof on this.
The world had a chance in 2003 to know Unit 1391 but unfortunately it missed this chance for some reason thanks to the media that ignored it or rather believed so easily that Israel’s first known secret detention came better known as Unit 1391 had been shut down , well for sure it is shut down but there are for sure many secret detention prisons worse that unit 1391 in that country.
That secret detention is only one in a big series of secret prisons there and I do not have to bet that it had been used not only against Palestinian Political prisoners but also against Arab POWs including the Lebanese and Egyptian POWs , it had been used for sure since the time of the British forces.According to several Lebanese sources this prison which could not be found on official maps was used during the Israeli invasion to Lebanon in 1980s and several Lebanese Amal movement POWs were transferred there and never were seen again. May be the high ranked Egyptian POW from officers were taken there from Atlit camp to there for interrogation as several Egyptian POWs remember that several Egyptian POWs were taken from the camp and did not return back , there were not seen again whether dead or alive in the camp. These are two photos I found while my search for Egyptian POWs photos ,these photos were for Syrian POWs heading back to Damascus after spending some time in infamous Atlit prison. The Syrian POWs were too few compared to the Egyptian POWs. They also left the POWs camp before the Egyptian POWs. The Syrian POWs were few because Golan was technically empty from the Syrian army by the 6th of June 1067 thanks to the withdrawal announcement issued by Hafiz Al-Assad and what preceded it from strange decision taken by Al-Assad and his men in Golan. Already the losses of the Syrian army official in 1967 war were 120 officers and soldiers !!!!!!!!
Can please someone tell me what that “W” written on their back meant or referred to ??

The Palestinian Holocaust Museum is a virtual museum includes the testimonies of the Israeli war crimes against the Palestinians . The museum is a modest virtual attempt to show the world the reality of what is going in Palestine from continuing war crimes not only against Palestinians but against human mankind.
Well it won’t be big surprise after all most of the Israeli leaders including the founding fathers of the Hebrew state according to international laws and agreements were and are war criminals.
Moshe Ya'alon
Moshe Ya’alon ,the current vice prime minister of Israel is a war criminal and he canceled his trip to London 4 years ago for fear he would be arrested for war crimes.Ya’alon ,the former chief of staff in IDF was behind the assassination of Hamas Salah Shehadeh. In that operation 14 people were killed including women and children in Gaza.
Ya’alon ,the Likud member was expected to become the new defense minister in Bibi’s cabinet but I believe “Bibi” knows that “Boogie” is in a deep trouble and thuse he decided to give him an honoury position. Yes it is just an honoury position and title according to their point of view. Again it is not a surprise the Israeli cabinets since the founding of the Hebrew State was full of war criminals and some of them were considered as terrorists by UK like Yitzhar Shamir.“Of course the list is too long to be mentioned in one post”
British Independent published a very interesting interview with an Israeli ex-death squad Soldier. The former soldier participated in the assassination operation of Jamal Abdel Razeq and another Palestinian militant from 8 years ago. The problem is that those two militants were not killed alone , two bystanders were killed two. The soldier can’t forget up till now how terrible it was to kill innocent civilian . Up till now that soldier has not told his parents and up till now he is suffering from the consequence.
This week the first Arab league investigation delegation went to Gaza to investigate the IDF war crimes against the Palestinian citizens. I was so happy when I read the news making the headlines whether in the Arab world or Israel despite there was not much comment about it. The delegation will document those crimes in order to escalate the matter in front of the ICC.
This is the first delegation with such mission to be sent from the Arab League as far as I remember, this is so promising for sure. I read before that the Arab league was going to sent an investigation delegation to Gaza but to be honest I did not believe that they were serious.
I hope that they continue to be serious and try to push this matter to the ICC
